hi, we're daybreak.

we exist to create a soft, welcoming space where anyone can explore what happiness means to them.

through everyday practices, playful discovery, shared experiences, and a personal archive of joy, we help people notice what feels good, build habits that support their well‑being, and feel accompanied along the way.

daybreak is a world where happiness is not a pressure or a performance, but a gentle practice shaped by curiosity, community, and self‑understanding.

by helping users collect the small moments that matter, we hope to make happiness accessible, comforting, and naturally woven into daily life, becoming a lived experience rather than a distant ideal.

our approach

sometimes you'll want direction, and other times you won't. daybreak meets you where you are with our two sections.

wander

explore through fun and playful activities. wander pages contain small interactions that allow you to bring a little more joy into your day.

mess hall

explore a feast of small, funny, tactile, and creative activities designed so that something here puts a smile on your face, no matter where you're starting from. no rules, no wrong answers, no skill required. just play.

silly decisions

at its core, the page celebrates the idea that happiness can come from not taking yourself too seriously. using exaggerated and silly choices to temporarily disconnect from reality. encourages users to engage without the pressure of making the "right" decision.

sticker maker

this is the fun part where the user gets to layer in personality with a little emoji, a doodle or a phrase. the stickers here are designed by the creator of the site, so every option already has a consistent look and feel. picking one should feel like choosing a mood, not making a decision.

seek

connect with others, yourself, and learn more about the journey to happiness. seek pages are spaces to reconnect, reset, and guide you back to where you want to be with intentional interactions.

between us

between us invites users to share short stories that capture little pockets of happiness in their lives, or moments they're still hoping to reach. each post becomes a tiny snapshot of a lived experience, shaped by the voice and identity the user chooses to share with.

just for you

holding on is where the human experiences settle into something personal, protected, and intentionally kept. it is a place where the user can create their own world by choosing what they want to keep, create, and design.

selfless less

this page explores how people pleasing habits can quietly distance us from our own happiness. instead of presenting "happiness" as a big concept, the experience focuses on a small, relatable shift by recognizing when we say "i'm fine" when we're not.

meet our team

happiness looks different for everyone on our team.
some of us love chaos, some love calm, and somehow all of it belongs here.

what makes me happy?

i feel happiest when i'm dissociating on a sunday afternoon, cooking something yummy, singing loudly to my favourite songs when nobody is watching.

i feel free and happy.

what makes me happy?

cooking together with friends: going to the supermarket to buy ingredients, bustling around the kitchen side by side, and then, once the meal is ready, sitting down to eat and chat together.

what makes me happy?

monkeys and apes have always been a source of happiness for me. i get so excited whenever i see monkey-themed items in stores or watch documentaries about orangutans!

what makes me happy?

i'm happiest when i can enjoy the things i love without pressure or judgement. enjoying them with like-minded people is what makes life so great.

for reference, i'm a huge nerd; i love lego, pokemon, star wars, etc... if i liked it when i was a child, i like it to this day.

what makes me happy?

i feel really happy when i see other people's faces light up with joy. i love seeing how excited they get talking about their passions.

recently, i went to a concert of my favourite singer and i've been on a happiness high since then.

daybreak will be
here for you,
whenever you need.
